Crossroads on The Vine

A student art exhibit at the American Jazz Museum
 1616 E. 18th Street, KCMO

In partnership with the American Jazz Museum we invite you to
join in this community-wide celebration of our young artists!
Crossroads on The Vine will be held at the American Jazz Museum
and will feature art from each of our scholars.

Crossroads on The Vine will be part of a larger First Fridays celebration.
First Fridays at 18th & Vine features live jazz, food trucks, and many local vendors.
The American Jazz Museum and Negro Leagues Baseball Museum will be open
and free to the public throughout the evening.

Crossroads on The Vine is a culminating event for Crossroads Charter Schools’ Visual and Creative Arts programs. Crossroads students spend a minimum of two hours per week in art studios studying curriculum based on the elements and principles of design. The program strives to help students develop their visual literacy skills so they have a greater understanding and appreciation of art. Each year the schools celebrate the year of learning through this community event, but this year will be the best yet!

Original student art pieces will be available for purchase for $20 each.

Students are encouraged to attend with their families. The event is free and open to the public.
